Inspections
As with any home, it is important to make sure that the home you are going to buy has no major faults such as foundation defects or termite damage. Make sure that your offer is contingent on an inspection by a professional. With estate homes, the same problem as found in a smaller home will cost you a lot more to fix on a grander scale.

As you can see, it is not just the cost of buying an estate home that you need to factor into your budget, but also the cost of maintaining it.  Estate homes can be wonderful investments and a great lifestyle change.  The luxury of extra space, tons of amenities, and added privacy is something that many people dream about but few can afford.
